Beatrice Casini of Casini Costumes

I am a one-woman costumer. I keep the budget low as I have a deep and detailed knowledge of costume history as well as creativity and vision that allow me to use found pieces to create character-driven designs that work as a whole to "tell the story" through costume.
I am able to recreate/suggest a wide variety of eras and styles and can help brainstorm concepts for your theatrical or film piece if needed. I can also provide warmups, scene or movement coaching as I've worked as actor, dancer, choreographer, producer, stage manager and costumer.
My undergrad is in Theatre from Bradley University with a Masters in Museum Studies from the UK's U. of Leicester. Working in Los Angeles as a member of Shakespearience, Circle X Theatre Co., and starting my own company, Theatre Panhaea, I've produced and created west coast premiers and original shows, recently earning several Jerry Herman Award nominations for my costuming work (The Addams Family, Newsies..)
I love this art form and look forward to lending my creative expertise to all manner of new projects!
