During the heat of the plandemic, our community was pushed to the brink. While the world shut down, and medical freedom was trampled in the name of compliance, it was the healers—the naturopaths, homeopaths, and holistic practitioners—who stood in the gap for many of us. They provided critical care, real solutions, and a safe haven when conventional medicine failed or refused to help.
It’s because of this lived experience that we know firsthand how vital naturopathic medicine is—not just for individuals, but for entire communities like ours, filled with people who believe in health freedom and self-sovereignty.
FTA Members Know the Importance of Taking Action
Over the past few years, FTA has helped move over 30 families from Canada, Ireland, and England to Florida—families who saw the writing on the wall and used their "token" of citizenship to reclaim their freedoms. Florida became a sanctuary for many seeking to live freely, and that freedom must be protected.
Now, a new piece of legislation—HB 533 & SB 470—has the power to bring naturopathy back to Florida, reinstating the licenses of Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) who have been denied the right to legally practice in the state since 1958.
FTA Members Walk in Freedom—No Permission Needed
Our members understand that our rights do not come from governments, politicians, or institutions—they are inherent, granted by our Creator, and exist beyond any law written by man. We do not ask for permission to move, to heal, or to live freely.
However, we also recognize that bad laws can attempt to block access to the healers and practitioners who serve our community. When those in power create obstacles, we shine a light on them and remove the roadblocks. We bring awareness to legislation that impacts medical autonomy because we believe in living fully, without interference.

For decades, Florida has outlawed naturopathy, despite the fact that NDs are highly trained, licensed in other states, and have helped thousands heal from chronic conditions through natural, holistic means.
